Treat yourself the way you treat your favorite characters. Look into your back-story to understand your current plot. Sympathize with yourself. Recognize your flaws, and appreciate your strengths. Defend yourself. Cheer yourself on when you go into battle. Appreciate every relationship you make and always look for hidden potential. You’re the protagonist in your story. You’re the main character. You’re the hero.
Treat yourself like one.
spending my friday night writing emma approved fic. because i am an adult and i can do whatever i want thankyouverymuch.
(and apparently what i want to do is write 300 words on how small Emma’s face looks under Alex’s hands.)
In which Knightley knows her best.
HA HA HA, it’s so cute how she thinks Alex doesn’t know.
For reasons I cannot properly explain, one of my favourite moments in this entire series is the line just before this, when he first sees that she’s organising:”What’s happening?!” It’s literally the most freaked out we maybe ever see him, because Emma is upset and he really doesn’t know why and that is just NOT ok with Alex Knightley.
Mr Knightley, telling it like it is and breaking hearts all over the place.
